Who we are
Hi, I’m Michelle Hawley, Principal Consultant at MissionMove Strategies. With over 25 years of experience in managing large-scale events, including high-profile festivals, corporate activations for clients such as Microsoft and Formula 1, and private events, I specialize in helping organizations—both corporate businesses and non-profits—build sustainable events that make a long-term impact.
I bring extensive expertise in Texas nonprofit law, event planning, production, and developing strategic funding solutions for initiatives in need. My experience spans from major festivals like SXSW to community events, school district fundraisers, nonprofit galas, and large corporate and private events. I’ve collaborated with student clubs and nonprofit organizations to provide strategic advice, ensuring long-term sustainability and meaningful funding outcomes for student programs.
In my previous role as Vice President of Marketing & Events at Liberty Hill ISD Education Foundation, I led the development and execution of major fundraising events, driving 100% growth in the first year and maintaining a 75% year-over-year growth rate. My responsibilities included overseeing event logistics, coordinating cross-functional teams, and creating marketing strategies that aligned with organizational goals. This experience has sharpened my ability to deliver impactful results through meticulous planning, collaboration, and execution.
At MissionMove Strategies, I work closely with organizations and their boards of directors to create strategic roadmaps for fundraising success. From refining existing events to bringing new ideas to life, I focus on building strong, meaningful events that drive sustainable growth. I also assist in identifying grant opportunities and managing event budgets. My goal is to ensure that organizations not only achieve their event goals but also advance their mission and leave a lasting positive impact on the communities they serve.
